the cutting beams good and strong but its useless unless u have spare warpcore and then if u attack earth u run out of power to quick its only good for defence or a ship with near unlimited power

I dont run out of power quick i just change the power control panel and put the reserve power i think thats what its called up to max.

so what deos the reserve power do (i only use it for engines)

I cheat or use plug-ins, but you get 43-45 planets for any government offering one.

basically you have to qonquer the galaxy.

has anyone of you ever tried to use a combination of: dominion cruiser/battleship + cutting beam +polaron/particlae beam + tranphasic? it rocks.

my favourite wepon is the transphasic torpedo but it has a realy slow recharge but is super cool on uber ships such as the borg cube

ah... the borg cube yes... shame it's too large and to slow though. (the ship I mean)

well yea the borg cubes like a 20 stone person racing agianst a 10 stone person (federration ships)

I like the cloaking device,cutting beam, and the transphasic torpedo combonation.

Just give me a transphasic torpedo, and I'm a happy camper. I modified the Runabout in one test plugin so it carried a transphasic torpedo when you started with it. It took quite a while to reload, but I also upgraded the Runabout's shields and speed, and I managed to take out a Nova-class ship before I was destroyed by an oncoming wave of Galaxies and Sovereigns XD

The cutting beam isn't that bad just buy an extra warp core and use it as a distraction and the cloak for hiding for repairs at the planet.

I only use the cutting beam incase i incounter a strong hostle ship.

XD I have to mention that since I recently got Studio MX, I've been teaching myself how to mod pretty well. When I get the chance, I'm definitely going to upload a video... But like my others, my windows emulator is incapable of sound, so you probably won't get to hear anything =(

I've modded the Type VII phaser to be a blaster, modded the governments to be from various sci-fi flicks, and changed some of the ships into Star Wars ships like the Millenium Falcon, X-Wing, A-Wing, Y-Wing, and some cool battlecruiser XD I'm quite proud of the blaster! It has it's own sound effect and everything =D

Star Wars blaster vs. Star Trek Type X Phaser... Kinda a hard battle. I think it would depend on the ship, wouldn't you?

I'm not too picky about which weapons I use, I have managed to kill a Soverign class while in a runabout with the phaser cannon

I always get one of the best ships and the cutting beam+pulse turrent+trans+spare warp core. And have a cloak in supply in case of emergency.
