I would like to thank all users that were active on this forum for their dedication. I am happy to announce however that I am now going by the name B0rgDr0n3 and my new forum is at http://flashtrek.freeforums.org/

This is to take the place of Vexxiang.com as it is once again down, however I would like to reassure everyone that this time I'm staying. I have a new game source that I am working on, based on Broken Mirror physics but with a great many surprises so come across and join in the action.

it's meant in 1x originally, but in the end 2x looked cool too. which one do you think is best?

PS.1: I got a 4x version too, for working purposes.
(I have worked in 2x, but I use 4x for transparencies etc. don't have gimp or PSP, it's so all made pixelwise)

PS.2: the images have been converted from .BMP to .GIF for uploading purposes. the 1x .bmp is 48.0 KB large and the 2x 192 KB. just a little bit over the upload limit for servimg.com Laughing
I can send the .bmp imgs by mail if you need them.
(don't even ask for the size of the 4x .bmp, that's just ridiculous. Shocked )


it's a large, advanced carrier, operated by few, it houses a amount of fighters, it's crew, and it's most fearsome weapon: unmanned fighters, ruthlesly efficient and withouth any tactical flaws.

average speed and manouverability, (for it's size) fairly light, large cargo and antimatter supplies, average weapons.

sorry for the doublepost, but I me haz a new sprite.



a sword-shaped cruiser, with it's in-line warpcores it can achieve great speeds and acceleration, however this also limits the warp manouverability. with a beam weapon strip over the complete side, it can fire very powerfull to the side, thus it's very usefull at flyby attacks. in the wings are the torpedotubes positioned, capable of firing both forwards and backwards.

Yeah a little dark but very good. And the carrier is good to. Having drone-fighters sounds good too.

@ trekkie: the first one looks cool - but it wouldn't fit with the carrier. could be a fighter from another race though. the second one remindes me really much of the sabre-class.
