yes, it will take time to change the opinions of people on my forum. i think for now, it's in our best interests if we stay apart, but not be zapped by lightning if somebody mentions my forum here, or this forum on mine

There is nothing wrong with exercising freedom of speech. If someone is evil, we have every right to talk about it.

Even when it gets highly redicolous and annoying? When it reaches here?
I personally think that is a bad thing entirely if you want a rift the size of an ocean in the internet.

The question is, why do you support Dondon?

1. He ditched BM2, (Not to mention, leaving Darkwing out to dry.)

2. He closed down his forum, and didn't care.

3. He doesn't take responsibility for his actions in general. (The guy's

leaving all of the time!)

I'm not completely against the Dondon, but his attitude will have to

generally improve before I could call him a nice guy.

See, your forum is dieing, and Darkwing's is flourishing.

Interesting? See, Dondon doesn't want people to create any links to other forums, mostly because he knows that he'll lose alot of members that way.

On our forum (well, Darkwing's), organization is better, and things actually get done! The members are plentiful, and the environment is balanced. Most active members can proudly, and truthfully, say that flashtrek.forumotion.com is the best flash trek forum.

I can't make a difference on Darkwings forum. No matter what I do, however on here I can. I don't know what goes behind the scenes and honestly that is between DW and DD. We are raging a pointless and stupid argument.

So, you don't know anything about your leader, but you still support him? That's really smart!

Also, this conversation is not pointless or stupid. We're attempting to work out our differences. We can't do that with your ignorance in the way.

I am here in an interesting position. I agree with both DJ, and Quantum. I think and believ, that some way or another this whole situation needs to be resolved, BUT, there is a difference between being resolved, and liking the results. What I am saying, is that nobody has to like eachother. I don't have to like DD, and he doesn't have to like me. I am not trying to get the few remaining members of this forum to come to mine, that is not my business here. My business here, is to make sure, that at the very least, we are not trying to crucify eachother all of the time. I know many members will never like DD, and I may not either, but that is our own personal opinions. What we do have to look at, are the similarities. We both have an interest in Flash Trek, and we both want to see something more come out of it. What DD does with his forum is his own business, and what i do with mine, is my business. I am not saying that either of us is right, or wrong, I am trying to just get it, that yuo're not banned for saying you like my forum, and it won't happen on my forum either. If some user came along, and said they prefered this site over mine, that's great, everybody is different, and the result of being different is having your own opinion. I am trying to make it so that the user who says they like this forum better, will not be publicly executed by the members of my forum, and vice versa on this one. I have a hunch, but no proof that the reason DD doesn't want other sites posted here, is because somebody might just post mine. That is fine, this is his forum, and he's willing to do what he pleases with it. So, I am trying to lessen the tension between us, but not make us like eachother. We're human, and I doubt any of us will ever like eachother. But that's OK.

Man if we keep going like this well go nowhere at all.

It will take a long time DW. I know DD. He's nice, I'm should be able to smooth things out only if you can do vice versa. Oh and nice speech. I can read people, you are a leader, so is DD. Why do you think your forum has flourished? Just cause people want flash trek. That may be one. but it's not the only.

Take Xiang, he was a leader, the first game he made brought many to his cause, then he made another game, and many more to his cause, his forum was the best, and Xiang was known to be quite kind and nice, he was a leader and many followed him. Then he left, allowing many others to rise, like you. We owe more to him than we know. Though his site is dead, all it would take is one post, one announcement on any forum and boom he rekindled his forum.

it really is unfortunate with VX Flash. It seems that he has given up with it mostly, and turned it over to the dogs if you know what i mean. Of basically all who posted about BM3, he was the most enthusiastic, and wanted me to continue. It is really funny, because the members of the forum thought it was like stealing something he made, and putting my name on it, yet they weren't upset with any of the other mods and changes to BM, yet he was the creator of BM, and wanted me to continue. anyways, i'm done with that forum all together.

well, T35, it may seem like we're getting no where now, but in time, who knows, great things might occur, and on the other hand, nothing might occur. It is all a matter of time and belief and willpower really. we have to want to get along before we actually can, and making ourselves want, may take some time.

Well one thing. People follow you even though they don't know you, same for Xiang and DD. It's natural. Overtime do they know their leader.

that is truly a good question. i have been asking myself that all these months that my forum has been alive. as bizarre as it may seem, mine (and probaly this one as well) is now more than a forum, it's a community and a family, yet do we know eachother, not really, all we know is the text that we write and pictures we post. I have never met face to face with anybody, so how do i or anybody for that matter know any of us? yet in a bizarre way, we seem to know each other very well. i don't know about you, but with a forum as small as mine, it seems that ew can get along easier. Perhaps where VX has fallen, is the fact that it has so many members that are active. once you get a couple thousand people, it's hard to stay a community, as the dominant ones (not necessarily leaders) arise and take control.

Well I can answer one question: We all don't know eachother, we don't have to deal with people, we jsut post and chat and help if we wanted.

As for the second here is what I feel: Each forum is encircled around a leader, if the leader leaves the forum starts to fall. Even if a new leader is in place it will still fall.

Unfortunately not. This goverment will fall before that. Unless we say otherwise. The goverment is controlled by the people and the people aren't being bright.
