1st) Dominion/TOS Empowerment!

Hehe, more power to the people! Particularly the Dominion and the TOS-era fans!



This one is mostly for the Dominion (if you're
playing a dominion soldier) that allows you to build all kinds of cool
stuff, including the bar and maintenance station, and get a particle
beam like the dominion ships! You can also get a public protector badge
to keep your dominion ship safe from attack in civilian systems. Not to
mention the Dominion now have a comm relay in their system.



And for the old-time Star Trek lovers (those
that liked the Constitution, Miranda, and Excelsior especially) you can
now build Oberths, Constitutions, Constellations, and Mirandas with
weapons! (the Miranda has a Type X phaser instead of it's original Type
VII) There's a space station called the "Old Timer's Club" in New
Switzerland you can get all of these ships at.



Buildable Species 8472 and Gomtu ships (I do have to edit them a little, cause they're very cheap XD !



There go the Constitution-class ships, blowing up another poor innocent freighter XD



Ambassador-class can do dual-phasers like the old 23rd century ships. I think if I update this plug-in soon, I'll add this feature to the Constitution and Miranda classes.

Well, as I noted in another post earlier, I found out how to change some of the ship sprites around. Of course, it's very simple to Dondon, who does this a lot I'm sure, but it's still new and interesting to me XD

With the Romulan/Dominion Alliance plug-in, I'll also give the .swf file as a download. Just load the separate .fbm files as a plug-in and it should work Onwards to work on a new plug-in... That includes new Romulan and Dominion ships... Plus a few secret ships (I won't say what species they'll be for [there will be more than one], just expect many from Star Trek Voyager )

Well, PM me and tell me EXACTLY what you did down to the last detail... What you did on the computer, by the way, not in real life. If you did everything right, I will tell you. And then if you did do everything right and didn't miss a step, then there's something wrong with your computer. End of story =P

Okay. Sorry I couldn't be of much help in that regard. It's really simple, so when it doesn't work I can be baffled

once it loads you save the target to the flash trek file. Then you do as told correct? Well it worked for me. When it shows the icon next to the saved file delete and try again. But you already knew that right?

Hmm, actually I don't think I did. But I will have to remember that the next time somebody needs help! Heck, people with trouble loading plug-ins might just have to come to you XD

Okay and henceforth, I'm staying out of the off-topic chat threads. I just got into one on Darkwing's forum, and Shemuel and JPB18 thoroughly turned it into a raging debate in which 'they were right' no matter what. It was just meant to be a discussion of ideas, not 'I know the truth, not you' type of discussion. So, screw it, I don't want to have anything to do with talking to people about anything other than FlashTrek here.

And Darkwing's forums might be damned lucky if I continue to update my mod there. But you guys haven't given me any trouble on purpose (or by accident, I rarely remember having much trouble in Dondon's new forum than his older one XP) so this is a big THANK YOU! You'll all be getting the beta of the game REAL SOON, I promise you that!

Anyways, since my sister got to the comp late last night, I didn't get a chance to download and install Macromedia Studio, but I will today. But I'll also be gone until Sunday afternoon (or evening) so I may not be able to get back to work until Monday. But I can PROMISE you that you'll all be the first to get the beta. NOT Darkwing's forums. Not until the power-mods there get things fixed up, maybe some rules laid down

I doubt there will be rules laid down.....once a jerk always a jerk.


Anyway thankyou.....i've been waiting for an update....and i've seen that people here are the kindest than any other forum.

Yeah because we are a smaller forum. Those are the good one. If you hve 5 members, low chance of a jerk/spamer/flamer. Have 250 members you then have 50x the chance of having one.

i just hope this forum grows but stays the same.
