The galactic civil war lasted about 20 years. Although the fighting between the empire and rebellion(later the new republic) was of and on. But many smaller wars happened during that time. Then theres the yuhzan vong invasion. So we can go with the standard timeline with little to no modifications.

Ok. Many other people used the lihgtsaber. Boba Fett even used one aganst vader.

i don't know nearly every single fact about star wars or star trek, although i must say that my theory on the iconian history was very acurate.
